Migrations

Move without the 2 a.m. cutover.

We migrate Cloud VPS workloads, shared hosting sites, databases and email. Free for Cloud VPS and Business or Agency hosting, with a written plan before anything changes.

Process

A migration is a project, not a leap.

01

Inventory

We list every site, database, cron job, mailbox and DNS record. You confirm what can move and what can retire.

02

Build and sync

We build the target, copy data and keep it in sync. You test on a temporary hostname before cutover.

03

Cut over

We lower the TTL, switch DNS, and watch error rates and latency together. Rollback is a DNS change away.

04

Verify

A written checklist, a 7-day watch window, and the old environment kept warm until you sign off.

What we move

Supported sources.

If your stack is unusual, say so. We have moved enough strange setups to know that the inventory step is where the value is.

What you get

Included in every migration.

  • A written migration plan with a rollback path
  • Data copy and verification before cutover
  • DNS and email cutover during a window you choose
  • A 7-day watch window after the move
  • No migration fee on Cloud VPS, Business and Agency hosting
  • Your old environment kept available until sign-off
Questions

Before you commit.

How long does a migration take?
A single site or server is usually same-day. A fourteen-site studio takes about a day of work plus a DNS window. Larger fleets get a schedule before we start.
Is there downtime?
For a single Cloud VPS, often none: build the target, sync, then cut over. For databases, we plan a short write pause, usually under two minutes.
What if it goes wrong?
We keep the old environment running until you sign off, and DNS is the rollback lever. You are never left with only the new copy.
Do you migrate email?
Yes. Mailboxes, aliases and DNS records move together, scheduled outside business hours if you prefer.
